Mit der Helleborus
Gold Collection wird ein Paradigmenwechsel vollzogen.
Diese vegetativ vermehrten Sorten setzen neue Maßstäbe
in der Kultur von Helleborus.
Einheitliche und zum richtigen Termin blühende Kulturen
sind nun kein Wunschtraum mehr. Sortenechte Helleborus bieten
dem Handel neue Möglichkeiten in der Vermarktung.
Auf unserem Probefeld testen wir jedes Jahr eine Vielzahl neuer
Klone, von denen nur wenige die strengen
züchterischen und kulturtechnischen
Prüfkriterien überstehen. Die Jungpfl anzen im 4,5 cm
plug, bzw. im 9 cm Topf werden von Woche 16 bis Woche 23 ausgeliefert.
Alle Sorten der Helleborus Gold Collection unterliegen dem Sortenschutz.
Jegliche kommerzielle Nutzung bedarf der Zustimmung des Züchters!

A new
era has begun with the
introduction of the Helleborus
Gold Collection.These vegetatively
propagated varieties are setting new standards in the cultivation
of the Helleborus.
Plants which bloom uniformly at the
desired time are no longer a wishful
dream.Genuine, pure-bred Helleborus plants offer the trade new
marketing possibilities.

We test
a large number of new clones on our test fi eld every year, of which
only a few meet the stringent criteria for breeding and cultivation.
All the varieties in the Helleborus Gold Collection are protected
by plant breeders rights.
Any form of their use for commercial purposes requires the agreement
of the breeder.

‘HGC Josef Lemper’ erfüllt die
Wunschträume von Kultivateuren
und Kunden. Die großen,reinweißen
und wohlgeformten Blüten erheben
sich Anfang Dezember aufkräftigen,
lang gestreckten Stielen.
Die Bestände blühen geschlossen
und können zu Weihnachten bis auf
den letzten Topf geräumt werden.
Es eignen sich Topfgrößen von
13 oder 14 cm. In Dankbarkeit und
Anerkennung ist diese Sorte
Josef Lemper gewidmet, dessen
jahrzehntelange Züchtungsarbeit
die Grundlage für eine Vielzahl von
frühblühenden, robusten und damit
gartentauglichen Sorten schuf.

‘HGC
Josef Lemper’ fulfi ls the wishful dreams of nurserymen and
customers. The large, well-formed pure white fl owers appear at
the beginning of December on strong, long stems. All the plants
in stock
flower at the same time and can be sold to the very last pot by
Christmas. |

Pot sizes
of 13 or 14 cm are suitable. This variety is dedicated to Josef
Lemper, with gratitude and in recognition of his decades of plant-breeding
work which created the foundation for the production of a large
number of early-fl owering and robust varieties suitable for the
garden. |

Joshua’ ist derzeit die
früheste Sorte innerhalb der
„Helleborus Gold Collection“.
Die ersten Blüten öffnen sich
bereits Mitte November und
stehen deutlich sichtbar über
dem Laub. Der kompakte
Wuchs erlaubt einen hohen
Flächenbesatz. Für diese Sorte
empfehlen sich möglichst frühe
Topftermine ab Ende April
im 12 cm oder 13 cm Topf. |

‘HGC Joshua’ is currently
the
earliest fl owering variety within the
‘Helleborus Gold
Collection’. The
fi rst fl owers start opening as early
as mid-November and stand clearly
visible above the foliage canopy. |

The compact growth allows for
close cultivation. For this variety we
recommend ideally an early potting
date, from end of April on,
in 12 cm or 13 cm pots. |

‘HGC
Silvermoon’ ist eine
Helleborus-Hybride und vereint die
positiven Eigenschaften gleich
drei verschiedener Helleborus-Arten. Die ab Januar erscheinenden
Blüten verfärben sich später rötlich und zieren
die Pflanze bis in den April hinein. Die Blütenform erinnert
an Helleborus niger als nahe Verwandte. Durch die prägnante
Laubfärbung ist diese Sorte im Sommer wie im Winter ein Blickfang
in jedem Garten. In der Kultur hat sich ‘HGC Silvermoon’
als robust und unempfi ndlich erwiesen.
Die Sorte wächst zügig und erfordert Topfgrößen
von 13 – 15 cm. Der Nährstoffbedarf ist hoch. |

‘HGC Silvermoon’
is a Helleborus hybrid and combines the positive qualities of three
different types of Helleborus. The fl owers appear in January and
later change to a reddish colour, decorating the plant well into
April. The form of the
fl owers is reminiscent of those of its close relative, the Helleborus
niger. |

The striking leaf-colour
makes this
variety an eye-catcher in the garden in summer as well as in winter.
‘HGC Silvermoon’ has proved itself to be robust and
easily cared for during cultivation. The variety grows quickly and
requires a 13 – 15 cm pot. A large amount of nutrient is needed. |

Green Corsican’ , entstanden
aus einer Kreuzung zwischen
Helleborus niger und Helleborus
argutifolius, ist eine besonders robuste und unempfi ndliche Gartenhybride.
Diese Sorte stellt kaum Ansprüche an ihren Standort und ist
eine sehr langlebige und dankbare Staude. Die großen, cremeweißen
Blüten erscheinen je nach Witterung Anfang oder Ende Februar
und färben sich im
Abblühen rasch in ein frisches Grün. Aufgrund des schnellen
Wachstums empfehlen sich Topfgrößen von 15 –
17 cm.
Der Nährstoffbedarf ist hoch. |

Green Corsican’ , which
has resulted from the crossing of
Helleborus niger with Helleborus
argutifolius, is an especially robust
and easy to care for garden hybrid.
This variety is undemanding regarding its position and is a rewarding
perennial with a long life. |
|
Depending on the weather, the large, creamy-white
fl owers appear at the beginning or the end of February and
quickly change colour to a fresh green as they wither. A 15
– 17 cm pot is recommended due to their fast
growth. A large amount of nutrient is required.
